A short history of Joan of Arc:
Joan of Arc, born in 1412 in Domrémy, began hearing voices at the age of 13, in 1425. These voices, which she attributed to Saint Michael, Saint Catherine, and Saint Margaret, often appeared to her in her family garden. They first spoke to her during the summer, near a large tree known as the "Fairy Tree." Joan described these voices as gentle and benevolent, urging her to remain pious and virtuous. Gradually, the messages became more specific, exhorting her to save France by guiding the Dauphin Charles VII to the throne. These visions and voices profoundly shaped her divine mission and her heroic destiny.
